Bon Scott would have turned 80 on July 9. This night is for the voice, the songs, the stories, and the fans who still keep it loud. Come out and celebrate one of the greatest rock and roll singers to ever take the mic with a room full of people who know exactly why it matters.

Before the Band Hits

Come Early

The night starts before the first song. Doors open at 7PM with a full bar and kitchen, a one-night-only Bon Scott photo exhibition, a tribute video celebrating Bon’s life and legacy, and the final chance to enter the Christian Benner jacket giveaway.

Bar & Kitchen Open

Grab dinner, drinks, and settle in before the show. The Cutting Room is a full dinner-and-cocktails room, with a $25 food and beverage minimum per person.

Bon Tribute Video

A special video tribute honoring Bon Scott’s 80th birthday, featuring messages and moments from fans, friends, and the larger Bon family.

One-Night Photo Exhibition

Never-before-seen photographs of Bon Scott by rock photographer Steve Joester, on display at The Cutting Room for this night only.

Jacket Giveaway

Rare Images of Bon Scott

For Bon’s 80th birthday, photographer Steve Joester opens his archive to share a collection of rarely seen images capturing Bon during the years that helped define rock and roll. The exhibition will be on display exclusively at The Cutting Room for one night only.

Joester will be in attendance before the show to discuss the photographs and the stories behind them.

New York designer Christian Benner has created a custom jacket exclusively for the Official Bon Scott Birthday Bash. Known for his work with some of music’s biggest names, Benner’s designs are individually crafted and highly sought after.

The Venue

The Cutting Room

A New York institution at 44 East 32nd Street, between Park and Madison. Co-founded by Steve Walter and actor Chris Noth, the room has hosted David Bowie, Sting, Lady Gaga, John Mayer and Sheryl Crow, and is known for its sound, intimate scale, and full dinner-and-cocktail service. Seating is first come, first seated. No reservations.

By Subway

6 to 33rd St (Park Ave), a 2-minute walk. The NRWBDFM lines at 34th St–Herald Sq are about 5 minutes away.

By Train

Penn Station (NJ Transit, LIRR, Amtrak) is roughly a 10-minute walk. Grand Central (Metro-North) is about 10 minutes east. PATH stops nearby at 33rd St & 6th Ave.

By Car

Street parking is limited. Icon Parking is at 105 E. 32nd St (between Park and Lexington). Taxi and rideshare drop off at the door.
