Bon Scott would have turned 80 this year, and the Bon Scott Estate is celebrating with a special one-night-only birthday event in New York City.

On Thursday, July 9, Bon’s Birthday Bash will take over The Cutting Room for a night of live music, rare photos, tribute moments, and a full-room celebration of one of rock and roll’s most iconic frontmen.

Doors open at 6 PM, giving fans time to arrive early for the pre-show portion of the night. The evening will begin with a special gallery of never-before-seen live photos of Bon Scott by photographer Steve Joester, along with a poster signing before the show.

The live tribute begins at 8 PM and will be hosted by Terrie Carr.

The Birthday Bash will feature performances from Corey Glover, Constantine Maroulis, Jimmy Kunes, Militia Vox, Peter Shaw, Paul Bertolino, Chris Antos, Devon Marie, Erik Toast, James Maddock, Mig Ayesa, Lisa McQuaid, Craig Allen, Steve Brown, Sean G. Dolan, Craig Schoenbaum, and special guest Frank Ferrer of Guns N’ Roses.

The house band for the night includes Paul McGilloway on lead guitar, John Jackson on rhythm guitar, Ivan Bodley on bass, and Kenny Soule on drums.

Created as a gathering for fans, the event honors Bon’s life, music, and lasting influence through the songs, stories, and energy that continue to keep his legacy alive. From the early AC/DC classics to the unmistakable voice and attitude that made Bon a rock and roll original, the night is built for the fans who still know every word.
